Vitamins are needed by human body. They definitely have their own set of contributions towards the well being of human body. Body’s metabolism is regulated by vitamins when they act like antioxidants. They regulate your body’s metabolism, acting as antioxidants and forming a vital part of protein structure, hormones, and blood. Human body cannot produce vitamins on its own therefore it is needed to include vitamins in food and supplements.
Remember not all foods contain all the necessary elements required by our body. There are 13 known vital vitamins.B complex vitamins form a group of 9 vitamins– thiamin, riboflavin, pyridoxine, riacin, folate, cyanocobalamin, biotin, choline, and pantothenic acid. Vitamins are categorized as fat-soluble or water-soluble.
Vitamin A, D, E, and K are Fat-soluble vitamins, which are stored in the body. An excess of fat-soluble may prove to be harmful for human body. Vitamins group and vitamin C are the water soluble vitamins which dissolves in body fluids.
