Herbal, Natural, Home Remedies for Osteoporosis
- Dietary habits that include high amounts of protein tend to reduce the amount of calcium available for the bones. In order to fight bone loss, it is recommended that the amount of protein eaten be decreased significantly, and that the following broth is eaten frequently: Place several fish bones into a large stock pot. Add several quarts of water and bring this to a boil. Cover and simmer the mixture for about 30 minutes at which point you should add a few cups of finely chopped Cabbage, Dandelion Greens, and Stinging Nettle greens, Parsley, Pig weed and additionally Purslane. Salt, pepper and other seasonings may be added to taste. This can be used as a base for any soup, or used as a vegetable soup alone.
- A teaspoon of honey per day aids calcium utilization and prevents osteoporosis.
