Herbal, Natural, Home Remedies for Toothache
- Make a compress of Ginger and Red Pepper. Mix the powdered spices in ample water until a paste results. Apply with a cotton ball, dipping it in the paste applying the cotton directly to the tooth - do not touch the gums! Another effective treatment is clove oil. Some people are very sensitive to red pepper; those people probably should not try this method of pain relief and should try another option for herbal treatment such as ginger.
- Using vanilla extract works fine for a toothe ache, but if you have almond extract this works even better, vanilla extract has 35% alcohol verses 37% for the almond extract believe me the add'l 2% does make a difference.
- Clean a cavity out with a toothpick then pack it with some cotton soaked in clove oil.
- Rinse your mouth out with hydrogen peroxide. This will kill the infection.
