Information on Vitamin TLittle is known about vitamin T although it has been called the 'sesame seed factor'. It has also been found in egg yolks. Vitamin T - BenefitsIt is thought to strenthen red blood cells. Toxicity is unknown and supplements are not available. Eating Sesame SeedsSesame seed paste, also known as tahini, is sold in health-food shops. It can be used by itself as a spread or dip, or made into hummus by the addition of chickpeas (garbanzo beans) as in the recipe opposite. Hummus is now widely available in supermarkets.
