Fighting Cocaine Addiction

Quitting cocaine can cause depression, fatigue, irritability and other such symptoms. That's why quitting cocaine is so difficult.

However, tyrosine, an amino acid that's usually found in meat and wheat has been found to alleviate such symptoms. At Fair Oaks Hospital in Summit, New Jersey, addicts took the amino acid in their orange juice for 12 days. They also took vitamin C, the B vitamins, and tyrosine hydroxylase, the enzyme that helps the body use tyrosine. The results were remarkable effective. One St. John's wort polyphenol complex tablet taken in the morning is also effective in alleviateing depression.
